Birthday Money?

My friend Alyse had her birthday party in a club tonight. It was…interesting. I didn’t spend any money, but I know it had to be crazy expensive. There was bottle service– Moet, Grey Goose, and Nuvo…and that was all before I left. Not to mention what it costs to reserve a table in the VIP section. It was really fun, but I know for sure I wont ever spend that much to party.

These shoes gave me killer blisters. And I thought I was avoiding those by always wearing flats… The walk from work to the metro was almost unbearable. But I made it. Its a shame they’re so cute. Maybe I’ll try to sell them on eBay or amazon…

Sooooo… I’ve been applying to a lot of different freelancing positions. I heard back from a few, but I accepted an offer to write from a site called NicerNews. The site only publishes happy news and I can pitch my own ideas, or get assignments. I’m not the best journalistic writer, but hopefully this will help me develop more of my writing skills. We’ll see…
